A.K.A. Barry and Kate, whose joint and seperate interests include
genealogy, reading, cross stitch, history, and visiting forums for a

We
have wanted our own webspace for quite some time, but circumstances
never seemed right, until now.
So, here we are, with our new website, full of bargains, help, tips,
links, and much more.
Our interest in postcards grew from our joint genealogy hobby. Kate
discovered that her great great uncle was in artist in York.
Tom
Guy painted topographical scenes, mainly in York and
Yorkshire, but
also in Durham, Newcastle and Northumberland. Many of his paintings
became popular postcards, which are still sought after today. The
chasing of, and finding Tom's postcards whetted our appetite, so much
so, we began collecting too many postcards, therefore some have to go.
It is a
similar story with the
books. Far too many have been bought over the years, but as we said, we
love to read. Our choice is varied, which stops boredom setting in, so
have a look you may find something which interests you.
We
have also been searching the internet for good quality gadgets at a
reasonable price. We have found a supplier for these, and wish to share
our good fortune with others. We are sure you will find
something
which you wish to know more about.
